The Triadic Ballet

The Triad Collection is inspired by the geometric costumes of Oskar Schlemmer’s Triadic Ballet, which debuted in 1922. A production of the Bauhaus’s theater workshop, Schlemmer designed 18 different costumes that abstracted the bodies of the dancers with hoops, spheres, circles and cones. Using these simplified geometric shapes as a starting point, the Triad Collection embraces the whimsical playfulness of this Bauhaus production.
